Student Affairs Divisions: Student Affairs Business Office
The Student Affairs Business Office provides seamless financial, administrative and technical support to Student Affairs units while driving continuous improvement initiatives and providing change leadership.
The Business Office is an interdisciplinary professional team comprised of the Student Affairs Tech Team (SATT) and the Student Affairs Finance Office (SAFO).
The Tech Team provides a full suite of services to all Student Affairs units, including:
- Development of Student Affairs digital and technology strategy to align with the University’s strategic direction
- Mission-critical application and end-user support
- Design, development, maintenance and hosting of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) compliant websites and applications
- Maintenance of the secure computing infrastructure required to operate all Student Affairs business applications
- Project management and systems integration support
The Finance Office provides all Student Affairs units with centralized financial and administrative support services, including:
- Strategic planning and forecasting
- Human resource management and support
- Financial analysis and reporting
- Data analytics and modelling
- Accounts payable and Accounts receivable (including medical billings)
- Ministry grant writing and project reporting
