Student Affairs Divisions: Student Accessibility Services
Student Accessibility Services supports students with disabilities by removing barriers and promoting full participation through individualized academic accommodation plans and additional services.
Division priorities include:
- Accessible Teaching and Learning: Develop an accessible teaching and learning roadmap and strategy through collaboration with faculty and staff colleagues.
- Student-Centred Approach: Embrace intersectionality to foster a welcoming and supportive environment for all community members.
- Collaboration and Engagement: Transform service delivery to allow more collaboration with students, faculty, staff and external stakeholders, and develop effective solutions for challenges facing students with disabilities.
- Continuous Improvement: Collect feedback and regularly review disability services to ensure effectiveness and relevance.
